QA Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.

Technical Skills

  •  Proficient in automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, Playwright, Postman). Strong understanding of programming languages (Python, JavaScript). Knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Experience with API testing, security testing tools (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

 

  • Familiarity with tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner for performance testing.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines, such as WCAG.
  • Certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools for automating testing and deployment.

  • Design and implement automation test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, Playwright, and Postman.

Defect Management

  • Log, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution.

Security Testing

  • Conduct security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.

Performance Testing

  • Perform performance testing to measure application responsiveness, scalability, and stability.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Mentorship & Curriculum Development

  • Develop and deliver a structured syllabus covering QA methodologies, automation, and compliance testing. Provide mentorship, guidance, and hands-on support to mentees, fostering independent problem-solving skills.

Mentorship and Guidance:

  • Provide regular mentorship and guidance throughout the program.
  • Offer support and advice on challenges and obstacles the mentee may face.
  • Encourage the mentee to think critically and problem-solve independently.
